Kitesurfing — or kiteboarding — is a sport you can enjoy all year round, in many places around the world and in many ways. In North Cyprus it started here: Heaven Surf House is the first kite school in North Cyprus.
Our head instructor Uğur Sayılır has been teaching since 2009 and became an IKO licensed instructor in 2011. He crossed the Mediterranean Sea with his kite and board in four hours and went around Cyprus twice on a kite foil. Yedidalga is his home spot, and he has made the wind his way of life.
We teach all levels, from your very first kite to riding upwind, transitions and kite foiling. Every course comes with an IKO kiteboarding card, the international card that records your level.
For the lessons we use stable, good quality kites that make your learning experience easier and safer — and the wetsuit is included.

Our tip: take your lessons on consecutive days. Once-a-week training slows your progress and your motivation.

Yedidalga is the windiest spot on the west coast of Morphou Bay. Here thermal wind and the venturi effect come together, and the spot has a launching and landing area and a place to wash your equipment.
No. The Kite Intro and the beginner courses start from zero. With professional training you learn the basic skills in at least 6 hours; our beginner courses have 8 hours.

Yes. For the lessons we supply all the gear: full kite equipment, a wetsuit, a waterproof radio helmet, a life vest and Sea Specs sunglasses. Supervision and kite foil lessons include the equipment too. Only for the Refresh package you bring your own equipment.

The main kite season is from April to October, with a steady thermal wind around 20 knots. Kitesurfing in Cyprus is possible all year, but this is the best time to learn.
No. Kitesurfing needs technique and skill rather than strength — the harness carries the pull of the kite and your arms only steer. Basic swimming skills are enough.
Children can take kitesurf lessons from the age of 12.
