This page explains what personal data we collect on heavensurfhouse.com and in our booking form at form.heavensurfhouse.com, why we collect it, who gets it and what your rights are. Last updated: 4 November 2026.

What we collect and why
Visiting the website
Our server writes a technical log of each visit (IP address, browser, page, time). We use it only to keep the website secure and working, and it is deleted after about five weeks.
Request and contact form
When you send us a request, we receive your name, email, phone number (if you give it), your dates, the number of people, the topic and your message. We use them to answer you and to arrange your lesson or stay. The request comes to us by email.
Reservation and check-in form
To book a stay or to check in at the camping, you give us your name, contact details, date of birth, nationality, your ID or passport number, the details of your stay and — now or on arrival — a photo of your ID or passport. We use them to register your stay, as accommodation providers have to record their guests, and to send you a confirmation.
The photo of your document is read automatically on our own server to fill in the form; it is not sent to any outside service. Photos you take but do not send are deleted within six hours.
If you want, we keep your details for your next booking (the “book again” link in your email). You can delete them at any time with the link in that email.
Payment
You pay in cash on arrival. We do not collect card or bank details online.
Cookies and statistics
Without your consent we only store what the site needs: your cookie choice and, in the booking form, your language. Staff who sign in to our admin get a session cookie.
With your consent we use Google Analytics and Google Ads (to see how the site is used and to measure our ads) and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads). We use Google Consent Mode: before you agree, Google’s tag sets no cookies and only receives basic signals without identifiers. The Meta Pixel loads only after you agree.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Who receives your data
- Our website and booking form run on a server in Germany (EU), looked after for us by Software Pizza.
- Our email is hosted by Google (Google Workspace).
- With your consent: Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta (Pixel).
- If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes the messages.
Google and Meta may process data in the USA; they use the safeguards of EU law for this (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Requests and emails: as long as we need them to answer you and to arrange your stay or lesson.
- Reservations, check-ins and ID photos: as long as we need them for your stay and for our legal duties, then they are deleted.
- Saved details for the next booking: until you delete them or ask us to.
- Statistics: according to the settings of our Google Analytics account, at most 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us which data we have about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, get a copy, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to info@heavensurfhouse.com.
If you live in the EU, you can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
