Celebrating by the sea in North Cyprus at Heaven Surf House
Looking for a place to celebrate by the sea in North Cyprus? At Heaven Surf House in Yedidalga, on the shore of Morphou Bay, we have hosted beach parties, a New Year’s Eve night and a three-day gathering with yoga, workshops and music. From next year, 2027, we will also open our place for private events: birthdays, small weddings and retreats. There is no fixed package — send us a direct message or call us for the details.
What kind of celebration fits Heaven?
Heaven is not a hotel or a big wedding venue. It is a kitesurf school, a camping ground, a beach bar and a beach house in a small village, with the sea a few steps away. It suits people who like things simple, natural and relaxed. These are the private events we plan to host from 2027:
- A birthday by the sea: a swim, the sunset and your friends around you.
- A small wedding: a simple, relaxed day by the sea with your family and friends.
- A retreat: a yoga or meditation weekend on the grass by the sea, sleeping in tents or campers.
Every request is different, and a lot depends on the date, the season and how many you are. That is why we talk about each idea one by one, honestly, before anything is agreed.
The place: beach, bar, garden and camping
Heaven Surf House is on the pebble beach of Yedidalga, near Gemikonağı in the west of North Cyprus. This is what you find here:
- The beach: pebbles, deep clear water and a steady thermal wind from April to October. In the evening, the sun goes down over the bay.
- The beach bar: open from 09:00 until sunset, with sun-beds and music. During our events the bar served soft drinks, hot drinks, soup, cocktails and shots.
- The beach house: the original surf house on the shore, decorated with musical instruments and surfing equipment, with a high-end sound system.
- The camping ground: shaded pitches between lemon and orange groves, hot showers, toilets, a shared kitchen with gas stove, kettle and fridge, and a fire and barbecue area.
- The garden: a swing, a slackline and trees that we light up at night.
We also care about the people who sleep here. The camping area is for rest with quiet hours from 23:00 to 08:00; gatherings and conversations move to the front area by the beach bar.
Past events and gatherings at Heaven
We have celebrated a lot by this beach. A few of our past events:
- Celebrating Spring party — 29 February 2020: a night on the beach to welcome the spring, with drinks and snacks.
- FLUID Movement Gathering — 2020: our first conscious mini-fest, together with Ecstatic Dance Cyprus.
- PsychoJam New Year’s Eve — 31 December 2021: a sunset meditation led by Ecstatic Dance Cyprus, dinner, camping and DJs.
- FLUID Tribal Gathering — 22–24 April 2022: a weekend of yoga, workshops, live music, DJs, children’s activities, local artisans and market stalls, with camping on site.

Retreats and yoga weekends
Heaven started as a kitesurf school and has grown into a place for lifestyle, meditation and rest by the sea. During FLUID Tribal Gathering, local yoga teachers held classes, and there was ecstatic dance, embodied massage and a healing sound journey. A retreat or a workshop weekend can fit here well, especially in spring and autumn.
Between sessions there is plenty to do:
- Kitesurfing: at the first kite school in North Cyprus. A two-hour Kite Intro costs €90 — see our kitesurf lessons.
- Paddle boarding: 850 TL for 30 minutes or 1000 TL for 1 hour, and easy to learn.
- Swimming and sunsets: right in front of the camping.
- History: the ruins of Soli and Vouni Palace are close by — see things to do around Lefke and Güzelyurt.
For a group that also wants to work, there is Wi-Fi and electricity at the camping, and shade under the trees.
Where your guests can sleep
Guests who want to stay overnight have several options at Heaven:
- Camping: 650 TL (€12) per person per night with your own tent, or 800 TL (€15) with a tent from us. See Heaven Camping.
- Campers: our Orange Camper sleeps up to 4 people (€75 per night) and the Volkswagen camper up to 2 (€45 per night); the Love camper, a small trailer with a double bed, is for 2. See caravan rental.
- Camper stop: 1100 TL (€20) per camper per night for guests with their own camper or van.
If you are a bigger group, read our guide on where to stay around Lefke, Gemikonağı and Güzelyurt. Friends who join you only for the evening can’t come into the camping area — visitors are not allowed there — but the beach bar is a good meeting point.
How to plan a celebration with us
Private events start in 2027. The best way to begin is a direct message or a call. Tell us:
- The occasion: a birthday, a small wedding, a retreat…
- The date: and, if you can, a second date that would also work.
- How many you are: and how many people would like to stay overnight.
- What you imagine: music, food, activities, the mood you are looking for.
We will tell you honestly what is possible on that date — the season, the wind, our other guests and our own events all play a part. Things like food, music or anything special are agreed case by case; nothing is included unless we have talked about it.
We are a campsite committed to sustainability, so we’ll also ask you to keep your celebration kind to nature and to the village: leave no rubbish behind and respect the quiet hours.
